Man Falls Off Roof Of Moving SUV (DUMB ASS!)
BURLINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — A Burlington man suffered head injuries after falling off the roof of an SUV. Timothy Lee Walker, 48, was on top of a mid-90s Ford Explorer around 4 p.m. Tuesday trying to secure a set of mattresses, police said. The driver of the SUV, Stella Thomas, 42, of Graham, attempted to enter a curve on North Ireland Street near Virginia Avenue when the mattresses became unstable and slid off the roof, police said. Walker then fell off the roof, striking his head on the roadway, police said. Walker was airlifted to UNC Hospital, where his status is unknown. No charges have yet been filed against Walker or Thomas. However, police said the investigation is ongoing. |
