Re: Man Dies After Attempting to Shoot Fireworks From Top of Head
I saw they posted this in the news page where I live since he worked at Disney. Don't know why it was a big deal. Anyway, this is sad, but he was stupid and made a bad decision that costed his life Everyone kept saying this reminded them of Charles Darwin and natural selection |

His brother is sensitive with words “There was no rushing him to the hospital. There was no Devon left when I got there,” Cody Staples, 25, told the Daily News as he fought through tears on Sunday. “It was a freak accident … But Devon was not the kind of person who would do something stupid. He was the kind of person who would pretend to do something stupid to make people laugh.” http://www.nydailynews.com/news/crim...icle-1.2282157 |

My uncle blew off half his thumb and parts of two other fingers with a firecracker when he was young. I don't play with that shit. Especially near my head. |

Probably dropped the charge in backwards and/or it could've been defective and exploded all at once instead of in the air - they crank out thousands of these things a second over in China - they can't all be perfect. |

Re: Man Dies After Attempting to Shoot Fireworks From Top of Head
I've done that, zipped-up Roman candles in my jeans and humped the air as the charges launch, and various other stupid shit...including permanent tinnitus at age 8 from having an explosive detonate inches from my face. |
