Re: Man Catches Horror Bug After Drinking From The Brisbane River
Except it's been owned by a British company since 2011, since no one drinks it over here. Yes, I'm well aware they brew other beers, 2 of which I drink, and they're still based in Australia. |

I can't even FIND it, let alone try it. I should've bought some when I was in England, but then they would've thought Aussies drank it. |

Re: Man Catches Horror Bug After Drinking From The Brisbane River
I've tried Fosters a couple of times (usually when there was nothing else on offer), personally I don't like it. I thought VB was a little better but not much. Castlemaine XXXX used to be sold in the U.K. till 2009. Never tried Toohey's or Carlton. What else is Australian? |

I can't even think at the moment, but they're all just the cheap as shit mid-strength beers over here, like Miller and Budweiser are in the US, and I'm not sure what in the UK. |
