Both Fosters and Carling are not very nice, i've always preferred Stella or Grolsch if i drink lager. Carling extra cold on pump in a pub is nice though, goes down a treat in the cold weather, have to drink it while it's ice cold though lol

Oh we have a brand here called Steinlager that suffered from that exact problem, it's the one kiwi beer that you will see worldwide but no one seems to drink it

I was wondering why I'd never tried it, then I noticed the capping system and realised I only try a vast array of beers to collect the caps for my mate.

What the hell kind of parasite or infection could that be in the water? I haven't seen anything so severe from drinking polluted water before. Anyone have ideas?
