Not that you can tell much from the footage, but that lioness really didn't seem to be very alert. If she was lethargic it's a safe bet she had an underlying problem. If there is one thing a predator knows, it's weakness in another.

He should have had a proper mate instead of having to sleep with his sisters. Even wild animals know that is bad genetics.
