Sorry, not that I don’t think this guy is scum - but it’s a pet peeve of mine when people use the label of “Pedophile” for fucking someone under the age of 18.

It is someone who is sexually attracted to “PRE-pubescent children”.
A 14 year old is in puberty and if female, is already bleeding and biologically ready to have babies. They have breasts and womanly shapes to their bodies(not fully developed, of course).

Their minds are still a box of rocks and not fully developed, which makes them susceptible to brain washing and such - which is the root of what makes this so wrong.

Pet peeve or not, and while you are correct in that Pedophilia is defined as "the fantasy or act of sexual activity with children who are generally age 13 years or younger", it's no hard fast rule. That said, there's something sick, creepy and disgusting about a 30+ year old man who hangs around malls and parks looking to prey on teenage (13-19) children for 'dates'. Were these my children, Roy Moore would have become a eunuch in pretty short order.

It's one thing to be attached to newly-developed young women (even as creepy as that sounds) but it's entirely another to act upon it.
