I am sorry but the pilot was a dumb ass. First off that Helicopter usually has two pilots. Also he was flying VFR in the FUCKING FOG........ He should have landed the helicopter at the APT and aborted / delayed the trip.

I'm wondering if people on phones are having a hard time seeing it? look on the ground right behind the firefighter's leg. It appears to be right next to what seem to be the tan leather seats from the interior of the helicopter.

I think that is remains of one of the passengers. I don't think it's Kobe, unless he was torn apart. The remains look small compared to the firemen standing just a few feet away. And Kobe was a big guy.
