Kendal man gets 27 years after being found guilty of murder.
A Kendal man who murdered a woman after setting her alight in her home earlier this year has been sentenced to 27 years today (Wednesday 20 June 2012) in Carlisle Crown Court.

61 year old Terry Armer of Buttery Well Road, Kendal began his trial on Wednesday 13 June 2012 and pleaded not guilty to murder.


Today, the jury returned a guilty verdict and Lord Justice Irwin sentenced him to 27 years imprisonment. The court heard that shortly after 12am on
