I never said that. I was also being sarcastic, but one must first have a sense of humor before one is able to grasp such things. On the plus side, a little girl who was savagely mauled by undisciplined animals got $30,000 to pay for her medical bills and may even have some free surgery coming her way. Fraud or not, I think that's a damn sight better than some hoodrat getting a new car. Her family members may have been complete pieces of shit for putting her in a dangerous environment with 10 fucking pitbulls and then trying to defraud the charitable inclinations of others, but none of that is her fault. Hoax or not, that's a happy development in my book. I just hope her family does the right thing and spends it on her and not themselves. |

Or it's possible that her family -- redneck schemers though they may be -- may actually be trying to pay her medical bills. The simple fact that they committed fraud should be enough to get the law involved at this point, which would result in oversight of their expenditures of the money in question. Child Welfare Services could have a field day with this whole fiasco. |

If they still have some dignity left, the VERY least that they can do is to make public all the receipts, in order to prove that they'll spend every last cent on medical bills and treatment, not to buy heroin or some other shit for themselves. They owe this to all the good people who tried to help the girl, not to be fooled by the assholes surrounding her. The future of that poor girl... THAT is what is more concerning  |
