I think it's Great that she's Bringing out the Topic of "Death with Dignity".  It sounds Savage but the only Really SAVAGE thing is to allow for Unnecessary Suffering. We are ALL going to die... at least let those who are in a state of Living Hell be allowed to check out on Their OWN terms.  It's actually a form of Cheating Death  I work in the Death Industry so I believe that gives weight to my opinion. Ask yourself this... if I was told that I had less than 6 months to live and was bedridden with a pain sensation that my whole body was on fire... yep give me the gas Please! If it's not for you... That's fine, Go out Suffering like a Champ! But DO NOT fault the rest for wanting that option to end the suffering for everyone involved |
