Some of them make a career out of it...... Ann coulter comes to mind immediately, every time she's on a media tour hawking a new book she makes sure she says something outrageous to make headlines...... Most of the time she does it she's smiling, she knows what she's doing and the host of the show knows what she's doing, but the people that buy her books eat it right up.
