Seriously the world went to war against Hitler for less than this. I certainly do not advocate nuclear weapons, contrary to what I might say, but is there any other solution? We saw how quickly they ended world war 2, we are in world war 3 right now against these beasts. Theyare are threat to the whole world. Time for the end game.

Hitler was a whole lot worse than this.

It's a middle eastern problem, let the Middle East deal with it...... The more we get involved, the bigger the target on our backs gets too.

How will nukes solve anything? ISIS isnt a target in a specific location or place, they're everywhere, in and around Syria and Iraq blended in with the civilians.

Suggesting using nukes is basically suggesting genocide.

I don't think it's just a middle eastern problem. Considering a nice chunk of ISIS members are not actually from the middle east and they continue to kill anyone from around the world, that rules that out.

There's been a million other people and situations that people have claimed were the next hitler or next Germany, to get public support for armed intervention...... The overthrow of saddam probably being the latest.
What's usually happened is that the result was probably worse than prior to any intervention.

In today's world, there will no no new hitler. There is nobody with the strength to stand up NATO like that.

IMHO the biggest thing we could do to help our own security is take a really honest look at who our friends are in the Middle East, why so many problems arise from that, and take an honest look at how our actions there have contributed to the situation there today.
That's not to say we can't defend ourselves, but we need to stop repeating the same mistakes.

Theism is the problem. also, if you think Islam is more of a real threat to America than Christianity, then you've been fooled by the media. as i posted in a different forum on a different site:

if you think extremist Christianity isnt a real threat to America, you are flat out wrong. if you dont consider extremist Christianity a threat, you are forgetting about something very important. the KKK is a religious group....so are they Aryan Nations and the Aryan Brotherhood. Remember the Bundy Ranch incident? The Oath Keepers (the group that forced the feds to step down by displaying force while using their families as human shields) are a christian based organization. in 2011, there was a bomb attempt thwarted at the Spokane MLK Day Parade....the bomb was placed by a Christian Neo-Nazi. every abortion clinic bombing and shooting..all done by Christians. It's important to understand that domestic terrorism is rarely done by Muslims. It's also important to understand that when a terror attack is committed by a christian, they are called a 'lone wolf' by the media and their religious affiliation isnt mentioned. when a neo-nazi or white supremacist is to blame, they blame race....but many forget or just dont know that the Aryan Nations is actually a Church called 'The Church of Jesus Christ Christian'....look it up.

now, let's look at US politics: you have David Duke (former leader of the KKK) having ties with Steve Scalise, who is running for office. In other words, Christian extremists have already infiltrated our government and are running for office.

understand that Bobby Jindal just gave a speech for and got public support from Cindy Jacobs, a Christian pastor that claims to speak directly to god and claims to be able to control real life outcomes through prayer. Jindal is proud to be seen with this woman....as he tries to run for President of the United States.

It's important to understand that in modern american history, Christian terrorists have been responsible for more domestic terrorism than muslims. it's important to note that extremists groups like the sovereign Citizens Movement, The Oath Keepers, The Aryan Nations and the KKK have all acted violently in the past (The Sovereign Citizens and the Oath Keepers held feds at gunpoint over a land and tax dispute) and have the propensity to resort to violence when they dont get their way..


....oh yeah, and some of them hold office and support others that are running for president of the nation. now, compare that to ISIS.....who have no real way to control american politics in that regard. young earth christians have the ability to change the way america works by passing laws....whereas ISIS is predominately killing other muslims.

as an anti-theist, i agree that Islam is currently more violent in their actions but the are not the more direct threat to America or our way of life....extremists Christians are. Dont let the media convince you that extremist Christians are all of a sudden not a threat. theism will always be a threat because it promotes a theocratic mentality.

Extremists of all kinds are the threat....and remember, im talking about theism, not theist. ideas, not people. so calling people 'bigots' for being honest about ideas is bullshit
