The problem with saying it's someone else's problem is America is basically a worldwide business. American money runs the world, for that to continue America must stay involved in protecting assets and stability. Not too mention America wasn't at war or fighting anyone in the middle east on 9-11. Didn't stop a huge attack on America. We're lucky the White House wasn't totally destroyed. So I don't buy the they only hate us because we're fighting them. |

I know Hitler was worse, obviously, but Im playing devils advocate  I also think that trying to "Westernize" the East is doomed to failure from its onset. |

Agreed. The whole Iraq attempt at nation building has shown us exactly how those people see democracy & what a value...... They could care less. |
