Re: Japanese Man Displays His £1 Million Tuna
It's a pretty insane thing to wrap one's head around ...the Tsukiji fish market sells around 15 US million dollars worth of fish daily. The rule, when visiting Japan; never eat tuna in a restaurant on a Monday or a Thursday because the market is closed Sundays and most Wednesdays. Much of the fish (including tuna) sold at the market isn't local to Japan. Fish of all types, including tuna, are caught off the East coast of the US one day and sold at the Tsukiji market the very next morning. Wonder if they use Fedex or UPS ??? |

Re: Japanese Man Displays His £1 Million Tuna
How I loathe Japan (and China's) endless rape of mother nature. I see the earthquake and Tsunami as karma for what they do, I wonder when China gets a good hit. |
