I can tell you that the residents who were effected by this disaster, are some of the toughest people I've ever met... So many people came to offer help however they could. We had one older lady who made meals for rescuers and voulenteers, its interesting how disasters bring Out the best in most people. I can also tell you that I found body parts inside someone's kitchen.
That is very good to know. So many of us have lost all faith in decent humanity.

Is there a place to make donations that would go DIRECTLY to that community?....Oso directly?.
We would like to donate *my family*, but don't want to go through any of the major "charities" because after all is said and done, a significant amount of the donation is overhead and never reaches the people in need.
