Re: I Know This Isn't Reddit But..Ask Me Anything (topic is in Thread)
Yes, I helped load bodies into a blackhawk, and I had the pleasure of finding body parts in the ruins of a house, there are other events which I do not feel like discussing openly, private messaging is there for a reason (not trying to be a dick here) and I'm probably going to be diagnosed with some level of PTSD

I have a further question, what can you reveal or impart (aside from a personal experience) that isn't available via a google search.

I can tell you that the residents who were effected by this disaster, are some of the toughest people I've ever met... So many people came to offer help however they could. We had one older lady who made meals for rescuers and voulenteers, its interesting how disasters bring Out the best in most people. I can also tell you that I found body parts inside someone's kitchen.

Its amazing that so often during a major disaster that people don't take on a survival of the fittest attitude but in fact become very altruistic...London during the blitz, the solidarity of 9/11..When push comes to shove it does bring out the best in us.

IF IN FACT YOU ARE LEGIT, I suggest that you post this thread over in Current events as this area is declared open season on anything of a serious nature as this.
