Re: Haunting Message From China Found in Kmart Package
They are a communist state, but communist states can produce goods. They're not pretending to be into capitalism just because they manufacture products. It has nothing to do with deceit, or with them being capitalists.

I didn't realize that Chinese knew English so well, I guess its possible. I found a note in something from over there years ago, but it was in a language that looked Chinese. (Don't remember where the product was from, or even what it was now) It was also on just a scrap of dirty paper. I hope it wasn't important, I threw it away. Yikes, I feel bad now. Hong Kong, I think. |

Re: Haunting Message From China Found in Kmart Package
The first dip into capitalism was a big disaster and they shut up shop. Only the past 15 years have they made strides into the capitalism model again. They are essentially commies with a capitalism facade to lure in investors and then trap them with ridiculous laws. The same thing happens in Russia with the oil. BP and Shell lost out big time as they went in thinking they could broker capitalist deals with the so-called new capitalism age dawning in Russia. I believe they were not only booted out but they lost a significant amount of money in the process. |
