1. i dont think i realized how big an emperor penguin actually is. 2. sucks for the penguin, glad he got help, 3. Sucks though from what nite was saying, and its true, if it where any other "common" animal it probably wouldnt have gotten the attention like the penguin did. |

releasing the penguin back into the wild may not be a good thing. why was this penguin the only one to do this? something is not right with it. i believe it was san diego zoo that has the awesome penguin display. (or was it marine world? or a similar attraction?) this penguin would be best off in a controlled environment that would keep it from making a similar mistake again. with HAARP screwing around with things, messing up the magnetic field, i wouldn't be surprised if new zealand ends up with hundreds of penguins showing up in the near future.  |
