Re: Girl, 6, Vanishes From Home

"This case does not meet arizona's amber alert criteria?"

A child, a VERY young child is missing. THAT should be more than enough. The fuck is wrong with people
It is disgusting how many cases do not meet the threshold for an Amber Alert.
One girl, about 12, disappeared on her way home and she was walking on the side of a busy street. Noone saw anything, and everyone knew she was in danger, yet an Amber Alert COULD NOT be issued because the abduction was not witnessed, nor was there are any info about the damned car.
It is ridiculous!
Back in the day before Adam Walsh when kids first went missing it was always the same thing that cops would say..."they ran away for a little while. They will show up sooner or later."
What happened To Adam Walsh was a horrible blessing in disguise in a way. It changed how the entire world dealt with missing children.
But it made parents ultra paranoid. Gone were the days of walking to school and up to the store.
