Germany,Wife Shot in Front of Daughter
On the ground of his wife's parents on Whit Monday around 19 clock Rolf Wagner (53) quarreled violently with his wife (39). Before the eyes of the daughter (4) he brought out suddenly a rifle. He shot his wife, fired after further around, met a family member (65) in the leg. Then the murder ran to his black Audi A6, shot in his escape on a police car. An official went into shock. His wife died at the crime scene. More than 20 hours of racing, Rolf W. presumably across Central Germany. 100 police officers involved in the investigation. Tuesday against 16 clock was the hunt finally ended. The police were able to stop the man on the A4 near Eisenach and arrest. In the car, the officers found a weapon. How is this possible? Germany has some of the most onerous gun control laws in Europe...clearly this man ignored his country's laws and shot his wife with an illegal firearm...how could he?

It's just harder to get a gun in Germany, not impossible. There are many hunters and target shooters, gun collectors, and finally many traditional clubs called "Schützenverein". In Germany there are about 6 million Legal weapons in private hands |
