Re: George Zimmerman In Custody, Charged With Second-Degree Murder In Trayvon Martin Might be real. Might not be. It proves nothing. If Trayvon was confronted by Zimmerman, he had every right to "Stand his ground". If Zimmerman appeared to be a threat, Trayvon had every right to fight using his fists, knives or a gun to defend himself from bodily harm. The photograph would only suggest that trayvon attempted to defend himself before being brutally and inhumanly slaughtered. |

Re: George Zimmerman In Custody, Charged With Second-Degree Murder In Trayvon M Quote:
If Trayvon was indeed so fearful for his life why didn't he simply run the 40 or 50yds to his father's fiance's house? He was 6'2" tall, 17yrs old, and a student athlete - surely he could outrun a 30yr old, over-weight, Hispanic man. The autopsy showed that Zimmerman fired his pistol at point-blank range. If his intention was to stalk, shoot, and kill Martin that night don't you think he would've used his pistol the way it was intended to be used - from a distance? That's essentially what firearms were designed to do. Calling a shot fired by a man who is being attacked by another man while laying on his back being assaulted 'slaughter' is far from accurate. The evidence in trial all point to Trayvon Martin being the aggressor in the altercation and Zimmerman was rightfully acquitted of Murder charges. |
