Let's say you're a cop and got a call about a guy pulling a gun on someone saying he's a federal agent and asking about drugs. The gun is in his front right pocket. You arrive on scene and find the guy. You say police, get on the ground. The guy reaches into his front right pocket where the gun is. Your information at this point is this guy has a lethal weapon. The situation is showing this guy is about to pull out the lethal weapon when you confronted him. You would counter that with less lethal?

Time and time again we see cops shooting and killing the homeless and mentally ill with pens and knifes in their hands . Or for just moving forward in a threatening manner .
Look ,I'm all about cops going home to their families after their shift but we are reaching a Moral and social crisis .
Polic brutality in on the forefront of the news / police are being murdered in cold blood .

In life perception is everything , it's the way we see thing as our reality . This doesn't nessisarly deem it the truth .
Cops are perceived as killers by more than many .

just on the humane side , cops need more (less than lethal) options and the day to day training to use the correctly .
