Re: Freshman Charged with Assault After Classroom Attack on 62 Yo Teacher
When I was in school (I graduated in '08) teachers were allowed to take our phones. You couldn't get it back yourself. Your parents had to come after school and get the phone from the principal and the staff were NOT allowed to go threw the phone. Most of the time, no teachers would actually take your phone. They would tell you to put it away. But, if you didn't, and you kept being distracted or were a distraction THEN you'd lose your phone. Makes sense to me. Unless you were doing something horrible with your phone..then they would look threw it. I think it was my sophomore year, someone ratted out a bunch of girls taking boob pictures in the locker room and sending them out. Their phones were confiscated and searched by cops because it was "child porn". ..again, makes sense to me. |
