Black, white, yellow, green or blue...it does not matter what color the kid is. His actions speak volumes. I guarantee my child will NEVER act like this. He will never disrespect a teacher, a cop or an elder like this. Not because he is white, but because he has been brought up with values and has been taught right from wrong.

Unless this is a class in self defense, I think all the facts are obvious.

This kid should be sitting in his seat, learning. Not disobeying the teacher and assaulting him.

If the teacher was going to look through the phone or confiscate for a lengthy period of time I feel the situation played itself out. I don't think a teacher should have the right to confiscate someones phone in their classroom. Kick them out for being a distraction, sure, but not take something away that belongs to them.

Teacher should have just let go and then reported the incident. I think he's as much to blame as the overly aggressive student.

The teacher doesn't give a fuck what's on the phone, the reason he confiscated it was because the kid was being disruptive. He may or may not give the phone back after the class but the kid would eventually get it back. This little bitch should go to jail for assault & battery...reporting the incident won't do shit, and teachers are supposed to be responsible for classroom decorum. The school should have a policy of no phones in classrooms.

My teachers were allowed to use violence, legally. It helped build up a relationship of respect. We knew if we hit a teacher, we would get the shit kicked out of us, and rightly so.
