They are built by Mercedes and have a rollover cage like race cars, according to an electrical genius at my body shop. I haven't been in one, but, they are supposed to also have more room than you would expect. I had a Geo Metro as a rental one time when my car was in the shop and there was no car behind me and I was right against the door when driving. When I got out, I cracked up! I had a good 5 feet behind me!  I did not feel safe and you could park two of them in once space.  |

LOL! Yeah, I'm alright with being a bigger guy. Being fat just means I use less water taking a bath than the "average " person.... I used to be 6' and 265 before all the spine surgeries. Now I'm 5'10" and 311. It's very difficult for me to get exercise, but now that spring is here I'll get some walking in. It SUCKS being crippled, but as long as I have my wife and kids, things are great.  |

Yikes! What happened, if you don't mind? I hope your recovery goes smoothly. These Smart cars would be great....if that's what everyone drove. Even with a roll cage, I wouldn't want one of those cars on the freeway with semis. They're too small. |

Some drivers of large vehicles don't think small cars are entitled to their entire lane and are very hostile and aggressive! Not the tractor trailer drivers! They have always been courteous as long as I've been driving. I used to like the, "thank you," with all their lights when you let them merge or change lanes. I hate idiots who tie up traffic over something stupid because they are in such a hurry! Leave earlier, listen to music and enjoy the ride! |
