the real facts are these typical farmers just want to ruin the wildlife reservation so they can make profit.

I am definitely not a fan of any government, however in this case the government is protecting wild life from these typical greedy farmers.... but alas most of you Americans fail to recognize wildlife/ environment as something worth protecting

education is needed
Hilarious!!! Two words I've actually never seen together: "greedy farmer".

You've reached a new level of stupid here. Farmers are well known to be wealthy beyond belief, driving their jacked up, custom painted tractors through town like they own the place. Oh wait... F*cking moron.

Most of them where I live are doing pretty good.

Depends on the operation.

But, it does bring up an interesting point- Should someone be allowed to use public land for personal profit?

Dunno. Maybe ask all of the Congressmen who are heavily invested in the companies that want the mineral rights to those Federally-owned lands.

Should the government be able to "own" land then charge it's people to use them?

Doesn't happen where I live.

Public land is open for recreation, for everyone, but nobody profits from it.

Letting my cattle graze on it wouldn't happen...... Or it would, until they were rounded up and I was given the bill for it.

I have an education and perhaps you should educate yourself on the situation. This wasn't a damn thing about a profit, it was all about surviving as a farmer, and helping the environment, and feeding the poor hungry people that work for a living. These typical farmers are feeding your family too

What happened was all about burning land to kill invasive species of plants off. So the cattle the people paid the feds to graze, could eat and survive. Lightning does this shit naturally, but we imprison people for doing it proactively. Its bullshit..
If we could all get WICK and SNAP everything would be golden, we wouldn't have to work, we wouldn't have to do shit but pop out babies and sit on our asses. Oh wait, i got it all fucked up....{REDACTED}

he would have had the gun drawn and ready upon exiting the truck if he intended to use it i think and they never even said the gun was drawn from his pocket. so it warrants deadly force just to have one on person?, besides the fbi story dont match the video. Hands up dont shoot?

What? You realize these guys are "ranchers" not "farmers". And how exactly are they ruining the environment?

greedy farmers

I think if you actually look at the facts you'd see its the government who are greedy. They stole the land from the ranchers. And they kept stealing more and more, and raising taxes and fees on the ranchers. In an attempt to force them out of the area.

A area they have owned and settled well over a century ago. That land is their livelihood, they took care of it, protected it, and made it better. It became a wonderful place for wildlife because of the work the ranchers did.

They created irrigation systems all throughout the area, which the government stole from them. The government claims they need to protect these water environments. But the ranchers are the ones who built them, maintained them. They didn't need protecting.

This isn't about protecting, it's about stealing.
