The longer she is kept on life support, the less the autopsy will be able to reveal. This happens to benefit the hospital, as well though. It sounds cold, but I really feel the family needs someone within their circle to tell them to let her go now.

I didn't see the Dr's court document. I understand some doctors are dicks and don't know everything, but I'm willing to take her word, plus the other 5 doctors who examined Jahi over the mother, lawyer, uncle and grandmother's word on brain death.


I feel for the med examiner who's going to do the autopsy. The family probably won't believe him/her when they say the brain was liquid/mush and a large majority of the tissue was dead, either.


Once again, I do feel for the family, but they've made her death into a show and it needs to stop.

Yep. These people are in serious denial.

Oh I'm sure, from their point of view, it will be a conspiracy. They continue to blame the hospital for not feeding her dead body over the past month, so chances are, they will never blame anyone but the hospital. Which means they will never accept their part in this fiasco.

I understand being in shock, taking a few days to accept your child's death, but you are so correct, they are making a huge production out of this. I'm wondering how long until they announce she has "died".

That's exactly what gets me. I was on that blog last night and also read that pdf. According to that "sloughing of the gut" occurred on Jan. 2. If it's true what I read that a feeding tube has been given to her I can't imagine what that will do with decaying insides. I feel terrible for the mom and family I really do. But if all this is happening they need counseling and will need it worse if they see their poor girl's brains oozing out of her ears.
