I really think that the grandmother, who is an LVN and who was also suctioning the blood from Jahi's mouth may have done some damage as well. She had more than a tonsillectomy done, she had another procedure - nasal something or another, too. Maybe that's why they're keeping her on the ventilator so long.
The longer she is kept on life support, the less the autopsy will be able to reveal. This happens to benefit the hospital, as well though. It sounds cold, but I really feel the family needs someone within their circle to tell them to let her go now.

I wondered if her weight was the cause of the surgery. It sounds like the surgeon screwed up, which caused her to bleed out.

The most aggravating thing was watching the mother say on the news they are being forced to watch their daughters date of death be decided by the hospital....news flash - she has been dead a while now. The parents refuse to acknowledge that little detail.

I'm sure it's beyond heartbreaking, but they need to let her go.

I read she had the operation because of sleep apnea. It's sad any way you look at it.

They're just in denial and don't want to let go. They think that if she is there physically that she is still alive in a way. Frankly, I think it is making it worse on them to let her body linger. They can't begin to grieve with her in the room.
