Re: Explosion Caused by Cow Farts Literally Blows The Roof Off Barn
Don't feel too bad for that bovine: as the burns were located in the immediate closeness of its asshole, that cow is suspected to have shot the fatal fart out. The others 89 are now considered as accomplices (as their farts & burps significantly contributed to the gas emission) but its fart was definitely the straw that broke the camel's back . Cows are extremely dangerous, some experts say that the average dairy cow expels 100 liters to 200 liters a day (or about 26 gallons to about 53 gallons) of methane, while others say it's up to 500 liters (about 132 gallons) a day. In any case, that's a lot of methane, an amount comparable to the pollution produced by a car in a day, but at least a car will take you anywhere: try to ride a cow, if you can. Not to mention what Al Qaeda can do with them. P.S.: In 2003, the government of New Zealand proposed a flatulence tax, an Agricultural emissions research levy to fund research into reducing ruminant emissions. The proposal, popularly called a "fart tax", was strongly opposed by Federated Farmers and was later abandoned. |
