Re: Ex-soldier Jailed for Burning Koran in Carlisle, England. (18 April 2011)
...so basically he got arrested and sentenced for theft and destruction of another's property. -The fact that the property in question happens to be a Koran is (probably) far more relevant to the media then it was for the Law. |

Re: Ex-soldier Jailed for Burning Koran in Carlisle, England. (18 April 2011)
ok so a non muslim steals annd burns the koran in england and the muslims get mad. if an english person goes to their country and one of their people stole the englishmans bible, they would be considered as a hero and the englishman would get burned... literally. theft is bad. what is an englishman steals a random $5.00 item in england and destroys it? would they be charged with a crime? likely not. same difference. wasn't worth the time it took in court.
