"Manchester United winger Nani suffered a "deep gash" in his leg during the 3-1 Premier League defeat at Liverpool on Sunday. A club spokesman said the Portuguese player's injury would be assessed on Monday. Nani, United's most creative player this season, was caught on the shin by a dangerous tackle from Jamie Carragher shortly before halftime and was taken off on a stretcher.
