Re: A Dozen Peckers In His Pants!

The man in question was attempting to smuggle more than a dozen of the tiny creatures through Rochambeau airport in Cayenne, French Guiana.
He created crude pouches in the front of the inside of his trousers to contain the un-sedated hummingbirds.
Furthermore, each bird was cruelly wrapped in cloth before being placed in its pouch, in order to prevent an escape attempt, which would no doubt prove painful for the wearer of the trousers.
Luckily, officials noticed the traveller acting suspicious, and upon removing his trousers, discovered their unusual cargo.
This was not the man's first hummingbird smuggling attempt, however, as he is known to hold a previous conviction for the same offence.

He was caught at Rochambeau airport
It is not known whether he has yet been charged.
Although sitting through a plane ride with a variety of animals in your pants does not sound particularly appealing, it is apparently a popular method of moving creatures illegally from country to country.

A man from Florida was arrested at Miami airport last month, after attempting to smuggle seven snakes and three tortoises onto a flight by concealing them in his pants.
Fortunately, a body scanner picked up the unusual contents of his trousers before he could board his plane to Brazil.
