He was a co-worker who they knew personally, so yes the cop thing applies. But the same outcome would have been just as likely had he been black or a woman or shooting a man. It's just unprofessional police conduct on the part of the responding officers. Maybe Neptune Township is light on crime and the other cops had simply misplaced their balls over the years.

Don't bump old threads in the Current Events section. The mods tend to frown on it. Honestly, DR needs an option to comment on a thread without bumping it. The subscription feature feels only half compete without it. |
