There's no side that's completely right on the issue, but like it or not Unions do have a place in creating and maintaining middle class jobs.

Just saw this:

Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead has rocketed to number 10 in the midweek Official Singles Chart and is on course to claim the top spot.

Following the death of Margaret Thatcher, the song from the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz, has soared into the Top 10 following a Facebook campaign by the Iron Lady's critics.

It has sold more than 10,600 copies and is roughly 5,000 copies away from a midweek Top 3 spot.

It currently sits at number two in the iTunes download chart and is already number one on Amazon.

It features in the 1939 musical The Wizard of Oz and is sung by Dorothy, played by Judy Garland, the Munchkins and Glinda the Good Witch, played by Billie Burke.

They sing it as they celebrate the death of the Wicked Witch of the East after Dorothy "dropped a house on her".

The song was written by E.Y. Harburg and composed by Harold Arlen.

A spokesman for the Official Singles Chart said that the original 1939 movie recording is now credited to ‘Wizard Of Oz Film Cast’, allowing sales of all releases of the film performance to count towards the same chart position - including sales of the popular versions credited on retail services to both Judy Garland and The Munchkins.

Cover versions of the song – such as the recording by Ella Fitzgerald – continue to count as different recordings and can chart separately.

More than 5,000 members have joined the group and posted a link to the song urging others to download it
