Dead Swans
A reward of £26,000 has been offered for information leading to the conviction of the person/people responsible for the death of 31 swans, they had been shot multiple times with an air rifle, most of the birds had just been released back into the wild by rescuers when the birds got stuck in ice, author Terry Pratchett put up £10,000of the reward money saying he was "incensed by the attacks. The rest of the reward money was put up by angry villagers in Somerset Levels, Phil New, 53 said "I am disgusted..I heard about the killings so decided to start a collection", investigations continue. Hanging is the order of the day if or when these sick bastards are caught.  |

Animal abuse is not far from child abuse to me. You're abusing something that can not defend itself so I guess it's only right if I did the same to who ever the perp was, right  |

This really fucking annoys me And doosh your probably right as down the canals near me we get gathering teens who think it's fun to throw stones and bricks at the ducks/swans. Think it's cool and showing off. They used to drink down there at nights with pellet guns and torment them until the police started to take action more. Once saw a swan floating dead when walking past  Actually caught 3 lads once myself throwing bricks and said "throw one more brick at that swan and i'm gonna throw one at your fucking head" They could of all turned on me but i aren't the type to walk past and do nothing. Aren't swans classed as the queens birds? |
