This is similar to a recent case in France. Nursing assistant didn't want any more children but didn't want to go on birth control so she smothered all her babies at birth, killing 8 of them. She weighed almost 300 pounds so she could hide her pregnancies and gave birth in silence. It was absolutely perverse - she just didn't like the idea of birth control so she killed babies instead. She had no moral issue with birth control. She just didn't want to take them.

Her name was Dominique Cottroz. News reports said she was of sound mind but her reactions, thought processes and, frankly, the stupid look on her face in all her pictures made me wonder if she was a bit slow.

Given the expression on this American woman's face, I wonder the same thing.
