Daring Water Rescue from Passer-by Saves Woman Trapped in Car from Drowning Ch

A woman was saved by strangers after her car plunged into a pond in a daring rescue captured on video.

Cynthia Garza was on her way to a garage as her car was in need of repair but lost control and it rolled down an embankment.

Her 911 call brought the sheriff's chopper over the scene but - before the police could save her - brave locals were already on the case.

A video that has gone viral shows Good Samaritan Brad Rupert co-ordinated the rescue in Sanford, Florida.

He backed up his truck with a flatbed. Another Good Samaritan jumped out and helped guide Cynthia out of her car.

Cynthia said: "They have touched my life and my children's life and there are no words to say how wonderful they are.

"I will forever carry them in my heart."

it's much better to have people risk their lives to do something you should have done for yourself... makes a better news story.
