Cops Shoot Black Caregiver of Autistic Man in Miami
While the caregiver is lying on the ground with his hands in the air, trying to explain to the cops that he works at a mental facility and the autistic man is one of his patients. Try and explain THAT one. https://www.thestar.com/news/world/2...on-street.html |

Re: Cops Shoot Black Caregiver of Autistic Man in Miami
I'd say it was both, for sure. If they didn't shoot the autistic guy, who wasn't complying (for obvious reasons), yet they shoot the black guy who is complying and trying to explain. So they go out there, guns blazing, on a call that a guy was out there trying to commit suicide, and pick on the disabled guy and his carer cos they can't find him to help him commit suicide. Sick of hearing these comments about how police are at risk, and that's why these things happen. Of course police are at risk, they know that when they go for the job, but the fact that humans are capable of violence and murder doesn't justify them shooting people like this. |

Re: Cops Shoot Black Caregiver of Autistic Man in Miami
Where are all the cop lovers now explaining how the person was supposedly at fault for something dumb like twitching or moving their arms or not complying in some way? ....thought so. I predict more dumb ass cops to die.

The clip I saw said the actual shooting wasn't caught on cam, I find that a bit suspicious. It seems obvious that the clip has been edited. Until I see the full version I will reserve judgement.

Wait until you see the shooting itself before you make assumptions. I would hate you to be a judge, the accused would be guilty before all the facts were in.

Re: Cops Shoot Black Caregiver of Autistic Man in Miami
http://www.local10.com/news/attorney...-issue-quickly Now they are saying the officer meant to shoot the autistic man as he was perceived a threat to the guy that got shot. "The one officer discharged his firearm trying to strike the individual that they thought was trying to bring harm onto Mr. Kinsey. This is not a case of police brutality," Rivera said. "This is not one of those cases where it's a rogue cop. This is not a case other than an officer who was trying to save the life of Mr. Kinsey and feels horrible that his aim missed and struck Mr. Kinsey." |

Doesn't that make it look even worse, they meant to shoot a mentally disabled guy playing with a toy. |
