Cops Find Screaming Girl, 9, Hogtied in Fritzl-style Dungeon
Marco Antônio Bocker Jacob, 61, was beaten to death on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, after the population of Tramandaí, in Rio Grande do Sul, discovered that he was responsible for luring a child, just 9 years old, with a popsicle, kidnapping her and locking her in a ditch. The victim was also allegedly sexually abused. The child's disappearance was reported last Tuesday (25), around 7 pm. Family members campaigned on the internet and even hired a patrol car to try to locate the victim. The captivity, however, was only discovered on Wednesday morning (26). The girl was trapped in a cellar at the back of the perpetrator's convenience store. According to security forces, Marco Jacob was the main suspect, but investigations continue to identify other possible suspects. Witnesses interviewed by the police reported that the man used to offer sweets to children who played near his establishment. Those involved in the lynching will be charged with homicide. At the time of the attack, police officers who were arresting the man tried to prevent the attacks, but were overcome by residents.
