I'm not disputing that she was the victim, and I'm not disputing that she had a right to pursue the life that she chose. What I'm saying is that it's not all sunshine and rainbows for someone who takes that path, and it's quite possible that the artificial construct that is human civilization is at least in part responsible for such phenomena. If nature were so easily forgiving of such traits and behaviors, then it stands to reason that they would be a lot more common than they presently are; but given their rarity, it also stands to reason that they are at the very least unnatural from an evolutionary standpoint, and preserved and protected only by social advances in thought that are within the grand scope of history quite recent and new. Thus, such protections are by no means absolute or complete. There are still risks involved, and one of those risks is that of attracting someone who is maligned with their own set of psychological issues as plainly evidenced by the behavior of her fiance' and compared to which a gender identity disorder would seem quite pedestrian.  |

If it was a straight forward murder then it would be easy to guess what happened based on the small amount of information released, but carving up someone to cook is beyond my understanding. If he was hungry he could have ordered a pizza instead of killing his wife.

If I were having to dispose of a body and cutting it up was the only way to sneak it out - I wouldn't bother with chemicals. I'd butcher it up into manageable pieces and wrap/bag them in manageable amounts - without the bones. I'd dispose of the meat and organs(and other soft bits) bag by bag as to not draw attention. Then again, what do I know? I've never had a psychotic break, nor have I ever had to dispose of my transsexual partner's body. It's all just too hypothetical.  |
