The mother of the couple’s three kids had also been choked and stabbed, but it was the chainsaw attack that likely killed her, coroner Dr. Walter Hofman told the Daily News. Christopher Peppelman died, of, "gaping, sharp-force wounds," to his abdomen and thigh from the chainsaw, Hofman said. The couple’s 14 year old son discovered the ghastly scene and called 911 at 12:50 p.m. on Monday, authorities said. The couple, who had separated, also had boys in the third and sixth grades, WPVI reported. Montgomery County investigators still don't know what caused the husband to snap and were releasing no further details on Wednesday, prosecutors said. I know, and to take the babies and children is so wrong. Not that a wife or girlfriend deserve to go out with one of these guys. I feel so much worse about the innocents. I am waiting for the toxicology results to see if drugs or alcohol were involved. |
