Dad Uses Toy Truck to Mimic Car Ride So Baby Falls Asleep
WPVI March 30, 2015 You know how with some babies it's so much easier to get them to fall asleep when they're in a moving car? Well, one dad figured out a way to create that effect without leaving the house. A member of the dad's family posted the above video of a baby riding in the bed of a motorized toy truck. The truck has been re-purposed into a sleeper using cushions, and it seems to be working, as the infant doesn't stir once. The family member titled it, "Watch What Happens When I Leave Daddy Home Alone With Baby." Though it's unclear how that family member feels about the invention, some social media users found it pretty innovative. Just make sure the prototype has a seat belt, dad! |

i used to take my kids to 24 hour grocery stores to get them to fall asleep. my wife only took two weeks of maternity leave when she had my daughter and my son was 11 months old at the time, so i had to stay up all night with my daughter to feed her, then stay home with both kids all day while my wife was at work...so, to ensure that my wife and son got sleep while my daughter was awake, i would take her to the grocery store, put her carrier in a cart and push her around until she was out. it was an every night thing.
