Re: Cat Lost in Colorado 5 Years Ago Turns Up in NYC

I have an indoor/outdoor cat; I'd like to tape a camera to the top of his head and see just what the hell he does when he's gone overnight. Probably just get a bunch of footage of the back of all the nasty slut cats' heads in the neighborhood--there's a lot of grey and white kitties around!
i want to do this and mine are strictly indoor. i would love to see what they do all day

Now let's do the same thing with criminals so we can find them when the prison-system works, and they kill again

Re: Cat Lost in Colorado 5 Years Ago Turns Up in NYC

that cat is damned lucky it was chipped. at facebook, if you can find
a site called "pets on death row" this is the link for the cats...
http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...PetsOnDeathRow
new york's animal control centers according to many are hell holes and the acc makes up excuses to kill the animals. they tend to prefer killing them over adopting them out. supposedly just one sneeze and the cat will be euthanized.

that is one risk of having a cat that is allowed outdoors (there are many risks). someone down the street is moving across the country. your cat moseys into the moving van, perhaps takes a nap and next thing you know, the cat is trapped in the back of a moving van headed for the other side of the country. one seldom even looks out of state for a lost pet unless they live near the state border, might less look clear across the country a few thousand miles away. on this case, it is unknown how the cat got to colorado and it certainly isn't clear across the country but you know it never would have gotten back home if it weren't for the chip.

chips supposedly can cause cancer or something in pets but this chip probably saved its life as it most likely would have ended up unclaimed, unadopted and killed in the acc.
