You asked if the kid was emo or retarded....I just showed the news text supporting he has a disability. Not trying to start a fight Pink. I would like to point out though that some disabled kids have a high pain tolerance. My daughter does...and she doesn't try to avoid pain because she doesn't feel it like you or I would. |

I have heard that some people have a genetic condition in which they do not feel pain also. I always thought that was an old wives tale or urban legend....but I suppose it could be true. Must read up on this kind of thing. |

I thought it was an old wives tale too..until my 2 year old was twirling in circles in the living room and smashed the bridge of her nose wide open on the entertainment center. She didn't cry at all...she kept touching the blood that was coming off her nose and when it hit the floor, she started trying to smear it around. She only got pissed and started crying when I was holding pressure on the wound to stop the bleeding.

She does react to pain some times. It's weird but it seems like the smallest fall affects her more than something big like that.
