Are you serious!!??!! The old guy did ABSOLUTELY nothing after seeing that there were people in the car?? My mind is blown away at the thought he just kept going along his merry way without a second thought as to the boy's(and at the time the man's) well being!!! I would be sooo shocked at just witnessing a car plummeting into the water I would be frantic trying to get them HELP!!My heart break's for the child and his family,this is a sad ending to a sad story!! thank you for the post

This happened here in the San Francisco Bay area and the divers had been searching in the canal for almost 2 weeks. Many cars were recovered, almost one a day it seemed. They did finally find the car and no bodies but the body was found days later 4 miles downstream.
The mother is grieving and is 8 months pregnant and the community has really come out to help her.
Truly a sad story . . . .
But i don't recall anything about the witness not calling the police right away.
I just know it has been on the news daily for 2 weeks now.

Also something funny I read in an article related to this. They think the killer is dead too, but 'police won't search for his body, instead they just told the canal workers to be on the look out' XD XD fuck yeah !! Let the fucker rot down there !!

THAT MAKES IT WORSE !! Fuck that fucking illegal, like he couldn't have called from a payphone or a store. Or god knows, his own phone was probably a pay as you use cell, with no name attached, he probably could have used his own phone.

FUCKER was more worried about being deported than the lives of 2 humans, thats why they are scum.

Because he's probably not dead. He probably left the car, and left the baby to drown, while he saved himself to be on the run. More than likely, to Mexico.
