From what I read, this thing was only like 35 pounds and was only staked down with the short plastic stakes. The big commercial sized ones that you rent out for parties are over 200 lbs and have tons of 18'' metal stakes to keep them down. Stick to those if I were you.
Either way, this is really tragic. My hopes go out for those kids especially the one that hit the asphalt because I think he's in a coma right now.
