Re: Baltimore "Youth" Rob Journalists On-air
I have CNN on...it is an unstable situation....the thugs are out and throwing bottles etc at the police. The police are in full force, lined up shoulder to shoulder and the "thugs" are out in the streets acting like idiots. I just saw some black guys full moon as he pulled his pants down... It's going to be an interesting night there... |

There are no white cops in Liberia, Obama needs to sack-up and offer all "oppressed" thugs a First Class, One-way ticket. Hell, give em a bottle of 'Louis XIII' and some OG Kush for the ride over - see how they enjoy life in the Motherland.

Re: Baltimore "Youth" Rob Journalists On-air
It's up to the parents of friend "A" to get the message across that being a degenerate isn't cool. If you decide that you're going to let BET influence your kids, and let your kids hang around with the next generation of thugs I agree that bad kids can come from good houses, but it's the exception far more often than not. It comes back around to the area you live in, and what's around you, and how that effects your outlook and how your perceive your opportunities. If you grow up in an affluent neighbourhood, chances are there will be fewer negative influences for kids. I think this was the idea behind affirmative action. Get a number of people out of the ghetto, even if it meant lowering standards, so a generation of kids could grow up with a better chance in life. |

Re: Baltimore "Youth" Rob Journalists On-air
My aunt was a freshman in high school when the schools stopped segregation. She said the first day the black kids came they were extremely confrontational. So much so you couldn't even make eye contact with many of them without them yelling obscene shit at ya. And the black kids in the first weeks started segregating themselves, taking areas of the school to congregate and wouldn't allow white people, even teachers into their areas. No doubt there were white kids who didn't show any respect as well. But eventually it became really volatile and erupted. And a large group of blacks walked around the school beating up random white boys and girls. Anyway when the media showed up, they reported the "white" school was the problem because they didn't make the blacks feel welcome. Which might have some truth, but they didn't mention how a large percentage of the black students acted like they didn't want the white kids there either. |
