Re: Arrest in "Baby Hope" Case: NYPD
Would love to see if some pictures of her are released from before her murder. I'm so happy these police never gave up. If only cops and detectives had the same.passion today.

They do. Killers have just gotten smarter and better at hiding things. The known prevalence of techniques and technology allows people to hamper police. Cold case files are constantly being solved across the world from way back, dont forget this. |

Re: Arrest in "Baby Hope" Case: NYPD
I doubt any exist, they seldom do in deep trauma cases, the abuser doesn't want there to be any link to the family. I never appeared in ANY family pictures until I was 9 or 10 as my Step-Fucker refused to accept me as a member pf the family there are only 2 pictures of me prior to the picture aged 9/10 one when I was a very young baby in my pram, from the time when my mother was with my real father and was for almost 2 decades the only one I was to be found with a genuine smile in, the second was taken about age 7 at the hieght of my abuse by the Step-Fucker and his priest buddies by the man who was to become step-dad no2 (a great man) who I had known all my life and was the only adult I trusted completely. I never saw either picture until I was in my 20's and my Nana showed me them and told me how any others had been burned by the S-Fucker and he had threatened her and stolen all but the 2 from her home. Even during my wedding pictures when I was extatically happy I was still using the fake smile my 2nd Step-Father taught me to use so I didn't look so fucking angry in pictures and when meeting people. I heard a line on Dexter (the serial killer program) that hit home to me, when he said how he was taught how to smile...I had never heard of anyone else mention it but many must have similar experiences. |
