The entire set including people is insured to the hilt and the crew is unionized so the wrongful death lawsuits should be financially covered. I'm wondering what becomes of the movie and whether it will even see the light of day.

I have to wonder why he would be pointing it someone, let alone shooting it in their direction. Not saying Alec should get hate for this, we still don't know enough about what happened but fuck this seems extremely avoidable. After Brandon Lee was killed in similar fashion, one would think the movie industry would make sure this couldn't happen again.  |

my guess is sometimes they load live ammo to let the actor or weapons guy shoot at aa prop then switch the ammo back. A day before all the weapons guys walked off the set over safety concerns.

There just isnt any excuse to ever point a gun at someone even if its blanks, if its not serious. Why would anyone play with a gun like that? Fucking stupid
