Oh OK, the police who investigate these things day in day out have concluded he wasn't to blame, yet some of you are now armchair detectives and have decided the professionals have got it all wrong and he really did know what he had done. Meaning he did it on purpose.....

NO.

I believe that IF he felt it, he was too mortified by what had happened for his mind to even comprehend what the result would be, so his mind blocked it out. If you hurt one of your children, you would block it out...if you were any kind of human....whether purposefully or not....and I do not see this as a purposeful act....juat an inattentive period.
